Help & Support
Frequently asked questions.
Account
-
How do I sign in?
VØID Arc supports Google Sign-In and Sign In with Apple. Open Settings → Profile and choose your provider. An account enables cloud sync, online leaderboards, and purchase transfer across devices. -
Can I play without an account?
Yes. Guest mode is available for local play, stats, and pass-and-play competition. Guest scores do not appear on online leaderboards and cannot be transferred to a new device. -
How do I delete my account?
Open Settings → Profile → Delete Account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is removed. Deletion permanently erases your display name, high scores, leaderboard entries, friends list, and all other VØID Arc data from our servers. Your Google or Apple sign-in account itself is not affected — only the VØID Arc data associated with it is deleted. Supporter purchases are managed by the App Store or Google Play and remain available for restoration in a new installation at any time.
Device Transfer
-
How do I move my account to a new device?
Sign in with the same Google or Apple account on the new device. Your high scores, progression, and supporter status are stored in the cloud and restored automatically. -
I got a new phone — will I lose my progress?
No. As long as you have an account and sign in, everything transfers. If you played as a guest, your local scores cannot be moved to a new device.
Supporter Purchase
-
How do I remove ads?
Open the Supporter screen from the main menu and purchase any supporter tier once. The purchase removes ads permanently across all your devices. -
I bought Supporter but ads are back — what do I do?
Open the Supporter screen and tap "Restore Purchase". Make sure you are signed in with the same account used during the original purchase. -
What does Supporter unlock?
Every supporter tier removes ads permanently. Supporter adds exclusive cosmetics and a leaderboard badge. Super Supporter includes everything in Supporter plus more cosmetics and the premium leaderboard highlight. -
I bought Supporter before signing in. Can I keep it across devices?
Yes. A purchase made before linking an account stays on that device first. After you sign in, open the Supporter screen and use Transfer Purchase to attach it to your account for cross-device sync.
Leaderboards
-
How do online leaderboards work?
After each run with an account signed in, your score is submitted automatically if it is a new personal best. Leaderboards are available for Classic, Drift, and Pulse modes. Guest mode scores are local only. -
What is the difference between All-Time and Daily rankings?
All-Time shows the highest scores ever recorded for each mode. Daily rankings show only scores achieved today in UTC and reset at midnight UTC every day. -
Why is my score missing from the online leaderboard?
Online scores require a linked account, a display name, and a qualifying run in Classic, Drift, or Pulse. Guest runs stay local, and only new personal bests are submitted. -
Can I compare only with my friends?
Yes. Use the friends filter in the Arena leaderboard, or open Friends and tap the leaderboard shortcut to jump straight into the friends-only view.
Daily Rankings
-
When does the daily leaderboard reset?
At midnight UTC every day. You can see the live countdown on the main page and in the Arena screen in the app. -
Why does my score not appear on the daily board?
Your score is added to the daily leaderboard only if it is your personal best for that day. Scores submitted in guest mode are not included.
Friends & Invites
-
How do I add a friend?
Open Friends and tap Add Friend. Share your invite link, QR code, or code with the other player. After they open the invite, you can finish the request flow from the Friends screen if an acceptance step is still pending. -
How do friend leaderboards work?
Once a friendship is accepted, you can compare only those players in the friends leaderboard view. It uses the same online score data as Arena, just filtered to your accepted friends. -
Can I remove or unblock someone later?
Yes. Open the player inside Friends. Accepted friends can be removed or blocked. Blocked players stay listed in the Blocked section so you can unblock them later.
Safety & Moderation
-
How do I report or block someone?
Open the online leaderboard and tap or long-press any other player's row. That action sheet lets you report the display name for review or block the player. -
What does blocking do?
Blocking works for friends and non-friends. The blocked player keeps their rank slot, but their name is redacted for you on the leaderboard. They also appear in Friends → Blocked so you can unblock them later. -
Does reporting ban a player immediately?
No. Reporting sends the display name to the moderation queue for review. If you want to stop seeing that player immediately on your device, use block as well.
Profile & Sync
-
Why do I need a display name?
A display name is required for public leaderboard placement and friend-facing features. If you are signed in without one, the app prompts you before your score can appear online. -
What happens if I was offline when I set a score?
If the run qualifies for online submission and you were signed in, VØID Arc queues the upload and keeps retrying later. Until that succeeds, the score may not appear online yet. -
Can I change my display name later?
Yes. Open Settings → Profile and update it there. After it syncs, the new name is used across leaderboards and friend-facing surfaces.
Notifications & Privacy
-
What notifications can I get?
You can receive friend invites, accepted invites, leaderboard rank changes, friend beat-score alerts, and announcements. Tapping a notification opens the relevant screen. -
Can I change notification preferences later?
Yes. Open Settings → Notifications and toggle each category individually. -
Can I change analytics or ad privacy choices later?
Yes. Analytics and crash reporting can be toggled in Settings at any time. If ad privacy options are required in your region, a Privacy Choices entry also appears in Settings.
Modes & Onboarding
-
What is Guest Mode?
Guest Mode is for local play without an account. You can choose a solo session or pass-and-play competition, but guest scores do not sync to the cloud or appear on online leaderboards. -
What is Kids mode?
Kids uses bigger targets, an always-on navigation laser, and unlimited slowdown to make learning and casual play easier. -
When does the tutorial appear?
Before your first non-Kids run, the game offers the tutorial. You can start it right away or skip it and jump straight into play.
